A big shout out to Rockford’s Bourbon Plug and Peoria’s 309 Bourbon Society for partnering up with us on this pick, which we are labeling as “3 Clubs – 1 Barrel”. Chuck Berndt, Chris Fioretto, Alecia Marie, and Paul Fix were the SWC representatives.
This Origin series is 6 years old and the mash bill is as follows:
60% Corn
36% Rye
4% Malted Barley
Proof: 122.1
Tasting notes: Nougat, Vanilla, with Chocolate cake and Almonds. Apricots and orchard fruit up front fading into a long and delicate baking spice finish. Super well balanced!We think this pick is going to be approachable to our newer drinkers, but complex enough for our seasoned vets.
